Job summary

g2 Recruitment is seeking an Interim Project Systems Accountant to lead a Technology One migration in Greater London. This hands-on role covers end-to-end ERP implementation with no management duties, on a 12-month contract and hybrid work arrangement (2–3 days in office per week).

Responsibilities include configuring and supporting financial systems, security, testing, budgeting processes, and collaborating with ICT and suppliers to deliver improvements. October start date.

Qualifications

• Must have experience as a systems accountant doing an end-to-end ERP implementation.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial systems projects, upgrades, and implementations.
• Manage and develop the Council's corporate financial management systems.
• Support finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Configure, maintain, and monitor financial and procurement systems.
• Manage system security, user access, testing, training, and documentation.
• Support budgeting, budgeting control, financial reporting, reconciliations, and year-end processes.
• Collaborate with Finance, ICT, software suppliers, and external stakeholders to resolve system issues.
