Job summary

Morgan Law is supporting a Local Authority with a major finance systems replacement programme. The Systems Implementation Project Lead will operate in a hybrid environment and within Inside IR35 terms.

You will lead the ERP delivery, manage the migration from OneAdvanced eFinancials V6 to TechnologyOne, oversee governance, risks, and dependencies, and drive business change while engaging stakeholders across finance, ICT and operational services.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering ERP or finance system implementations in the public sector.
• Proven track record leading complex finance migrations.
• Strong programme governance and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience managing suppliers and change initiatives.

Systems Implementation Project Lead Local Government | Inside IR35 | Hybrid Working

I am currently working with a Local Authority seeking an experienced Systems Implementation Project Lead to support a major finance systems replacement programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a major finance systems implementation programme.
• Manage the migration from OneAdvanced eFinancials V6 to TechnologyOne.
• Oversee project governance, planning, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Manage supplier relationships and implementation partners.
• Lead stakeholder engagement across finance, ICT and operational services.
• Coordinate data migration, testing, training and go-live activities.
• Drive business change and user adoption across the organisation.
• Ensure programme objectives, timescales and benefits are achieved.

Essential Experience

• Proven track record delivering ERP or finance system implementations within the public sector.
• Strong local government experience.
• Experience leading complex finance systems migrations and transformation programmes.
• Demonstrable programme and project management capability.
• Experience managing suppliers, stakeholders and business change initiatives.
• Strong understanding of finance system processes and controls.

Desirable Experience

• Hands-on experience implementing TechnologyOne.
• Experience working with OneAdvanced eFinancials or Advanced eFinancials.
• Knowledge of local authority finance operations and reporting requirements.
