Interim Education Development Officer – SEND Project
£65 per hour | Full timeHybrid Working | West Berkshire CouncilTravel Required Across the District

Pertemps is seeking a highly skilled Interim Education Development Officer to lead a critical SEND Capital Programme Project for a Local Authority.

Role Purpose You will be responsible for identifying and developing viable capital construction projects to be included in the Council’s Capital Programme. These projects will focus on meeting SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) demands across the district.
Working closely with key internal stakeholders and local schools, you’ll use education, premises, and SEND data to deliver strategic, sustainable infrastructure solutions.

Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience and confident liaisingwith a range of stakeholderswithin education or SEND settings.
  • Educated to a degree level or equivalent, candidates without a degree will be considered if experience in a related role can be demonstrated.
  • Able to work occasional evenings to attend Council/school meetings.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively across the district.
