Job summary

Debenhams Group is seeking an Ecommerce Executive to provide interim support within the busy digital trading team. This fixed-term role focuses on executing trading activity, understanding customers, and optimising the user journey across Debenhams sites and apps during peak periods.

You will work closely with Marketing and IT to deliver promotions, analyse performance, and adapt trading to multiple markets, while contributing to a dynamic and growing fashion retail platform.

Qualifications

• Experience in ecommerce or retail environments is desirable.
• Basic Excel skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.
• Strong communication skills and ability to represent the brand.
• Capable of working in a team and collaborating across functions.
• Ability to manage time independently in a dynamic environment.
• Genuine interest in fashion and retail trends.

Responsibilities

• Execute the website promotional plan and publish banners/content across sites and apps.
• Monitor web analytics and help produce performance reports with actionable insights.
• Collaborate with Marketing to support campaigns, promo codes, and capsule launches.
• Support IT to evolve trading functionality across devices and platforms.
• Adapt trading activity to different markets to maximise sales.
• Conduct ad-hoc market research and share findings with Senior Trading Executive.
