Job summary

Debenhams Group is seeking an Ecommerce Executive to join our busy ecommerce team on a fixed term 3-month contract. You will implement and monitor ecommerce trading activities across our Debenhams site, focusing on understanding customers to tailor offers and optimise the user journey in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with Marketing and IT to support channels activity, develop promotions, and help test site experiences while adapting trading to different markets.

Qualifications

• Ecommerce or retail experience is desirable.
• Computer literate with a basic understanding of Excel.
• Strong communicator who is dynamic, adaptable, and acts as an ambassador for the brand.
• A team player with collaborative mindset and pro-active attitude.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• A genuine interest in fashion and retail.

Responsibilities

• Implement the execution of the website promotional plan across all sites & apps.
• Monitor web analytics and help produce reports to measure performance and inform changes.
• Work with Marketing to support channels activity through promotions and capsule launches.
• Support IT to evolve the functionality of all devices.
• Tailor trading activity to maximise sales across different markets.
• Conduct ad-hoc market research on competitors and trading conditions.
