Role: Control and Instrumentation Project Engineer

Client: Major, FTSE 100 FMCG organisation

Location: Scotland

Duration: 12 months +

An exciting opportunity for an Interim Control and Instrumentation Project Engineer to join a global Project Engineering Team, providing capital project support to major manufacturing sites for a world-leading FMCG organisation.

You will support a series of strategic initiatives for their transition to a new environment and tool. This is a large-scale, £20m project spanning over 7 years.

Requirements:

  • Strong engineering background, with experience maintaining or installing process control systems (hardware and software).
  • Experience and awareness of the end-to-end project management lifecycle, including financial data, forecasting, and project closure.
  • Experience within live and operational environments.
  • Knowledge of PRAs and HAZOP/LOPA/SIL/SIS processes, experience with DSEAR and PUWER.
  • Strong experience in driving senior stakeholder management.
