Job description

The organisation outsources all of its repairs and maintenance work and does not operate a Direct Labour Organisation (DLO). The primary contractor is Axis Europe, supported by a small number of medium-sized contractors.

The Contracts Manager will primarily be responsible for post-inspections of contractor work, with a strong focus on mainstream reactive repairs. This includes ensuring that day-to-day repairs carried out in tenant's homes meet required quality standards, comply with specifications, and are completed within agreed time-frames.

Key Details:

• Primary responsibility: Post-inspections of completed contractor work, with a clear focus on mainstream reactive repairs.

• Main contractor: Axis Europe, along with a few medium-sized providers.

• Working arrangement: Ideally 1 day per week on site, but this is flexible.
  The individual will be expected to manage their own workload and balance office-based and site-based working in line with operational needs and inspection requirements.

• Flexibility: Essential, particularly in scheduling and attending site inspections as needed.
