Job description

The Role

This is a 6 month interim assignment to help support an operational FM contract delivering hard services into a newly built category C prison in Leicestershire. Reporting into the Regional Operations Director at this well known blue-chip FM provider you will be helping to operationally and commercially support the existing team of circa 20 engineers whilst working with the client closely. The role is immediately available and will be for an initial period of 6 months but if all goes well has the realistic chance of becoming permanent. It is based in Leicester and therefore the expectation is that you will be on site daily.

The Candidate

You will ideally have an understanding of engineering and be able to demonstrate your operational experience of leading a team of engineers. You will also need to show that you can manage a contract in a commercially effective way as there is immediate need to support the team. You don't have to have any experience of the prison sector but you need to understand how to manage an FM contract in either the public or private sector and be immediately available. You will need to be commuting distance to Leicester or willing to work away during the week.

A large corporate FM provider who work heavily with the public sector and a variety of central government departments. They are looking for immediate support on this contract and for the right individual this could potentially be an interim role that is extended or made permanent.
