Overview

Our client is a major UK energy business involved in large scale construction / infrastructure projects aimed at net zero. They are seeking to add a lawyer with construction / infrastructure projects experience to take on a 12 month contract.

Responsibilities
  • Report into leading senior lawyers in the organisation.
  • Focus on B2B customer and supplier contracts, and construction / infrastructure contracts related to improving energy usage for its customer base.
Qualifications and profile
  • Suitable for either a construction / projects lawyer, or a commercial lawyer with some experience and an interest in construction / infrastructure project contracts.
  • Role suited to a lawyer seeking a high degree of autonomy, with support from leading senior lawyers.
  • Experience in construction / infrastructure contracts and energy sector is desirable.
Location and working pattern
  • Based in the West Midlands.
  • Very flexible hybrid working policy, with 1-2 days per week in the West Midlands office.
