Job description

Interim Construction Programme Manager

Role: Programme Manager - Warehouse Expansion

Rate: £700 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)

Client: World-leading FMCG Organisation

Location: Sterling 3-4 days per week, with some hybrid working ability.

Duration: 12 months (scope to extend up to 3 years)

A Programme Manager within the Project Engineering Team to provide Capital Project support to Manufacturing sites, for major Warehousing Expansion projects, with a £200m project spend.

You will lead the delivery of this global client's Warehousing projects, across sites and at various stages (spanning land purchase & planning permissions, starting ground and ongoing works).

You will manage the program of works, carrying out senior stakeholder engagement, providing all communications, updates, and forecasting. You will develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, and proactively manage risk.

A number of Civil Project Engineers will work under / have a "dotted-line" into this role.

Requirements:

  1. 10+ years of large-scale, Capital Project Management.
  2. Technical experience and skillset for Civil elements of projects across ground preparation, legal and planning.
  3. Excellent communication ability, up to a senior level.
  4. Strong leadership and team management.
  5. Advanced budget management skills and commercial acumen.
