Job description

Investigo are partnering with a leading Media business to search for an Interim Compliance Manager. Our client is looking for someone who can start within the next 2 weeks for a 3 month contract to cover a busy period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing compliance areas from a legislative point of view such as Modern Slavery, Financial Crime and Tax
  • Liaising with subject matter leaders to be up to date with legislative landscape
  • Being up to date with any legal changes and identify whether the business is compliant with these changes
  • Board level report writing - must be able to communicate verbally and written about policy, compliance and risk
  • Responsible for assessing risk and finding where the problem is, then creating actions

The Successful Candidate:

  • Must have an ICA (International Compliance Association) Certification
  • Experience in a similar business overseeing all compliance risk areas
  • Must have experience reporting at board level

This role will not be suitable for candidates who have only worked in the financial services sector as the regulations are different to the media sector.
