Job Description:

Percival is excited to be working exclusively with Consumers International, who are recruiting a new Interim Communications and Membership Coordinator.

Consumers International is the only global membership organisation bringing together over 200 member organisations in more than 100 countries to empower and champion the rights of consumers. They work with different members and partners across borders to address critical, systemic global issues affecting consumers.

Job Title: Interim Communications and Membership Coordinator

Contract Type: 8 weeks FTC (possibility for extension)

Location: Remote, Global

Reports to: Head of Communications and Membership

Responsibilities:

  • Draft compelling content for various audiences across websites, newsletters, and materials.
  • Develop strategic messaging to effectively reach core audiences.
  • Support the design of communication outputs and materials.
  • Improve administrative efficiency through data research, entry, and organization of files and systems.
  • Conduct analytical research to enhance digital communications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with members, partners, and donors, sharing their stories and engaging them with the organisation's work.

Desired Assets:

  • Proven experience creating compelling digital communications (website, newsletter, social media).
  • Experience in a membership organisation or similar global non-profit.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with remote, international teams and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent visual sense, brand awareness, and experience crafting design materials.
  • Experience with Salesforce is preferred.
  • Campaign and/or event management experience is a plus.
