Consumers International is the only global membership organisation bringing together over 200 member organisations in more than 100 countries to empower and champion the rights of consumers. They work with different Members and partners across national borders to address critical, systemic global issues that impact and involve consumers.

Job Details

Job Title: Interim Communications and Membership Coordinator

Location: Remote, Global

Reports to: Head of Communications and Membership

Responsibilities

• Draft compelling content for various audiences across the website, newsletters, and other materials.
• Develop strategic communication messages to reach core audiences effectively.
• Support the design of communication outputs and materials.
• Enhance administrative efficiency through data research, entry, and organization of files and systems.
• Conduct analytical research to improve digital communications.
• Collaborate openly with colleagues and external stakeholders, ensuring timely communication.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in creating compelling digital communications (website, newsletters, social media).
• Strong project management and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent coordination skills across teams and with external partners.
• Good visual sense and brand awareness, with experience in designing engaging materials.
• Experience with CRMs and communication systems (e.g., CMS, Mailchimp).
• Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement new processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with virtual meeting software (Zoom, Teams).
• Desirable: Experience with Salesforce, project management tools, campaign, and event management.
