Job Description:

Percival is excited to be working exclusively with Consumers International, who are recruiting a new Interim Communications and Membership Coordinator.

Consumers International is the only global membership organisation bringing together over 200 member organisations in more than 100 countries to empower and champion the rights of consumers. They collaborate across borders to address critical global issues impacting consumers.

Job Title: Interim Communications and Membership Coordinator

Contract Type: 8 weeks FTC (possibility for extension)

Location: Remote, Global

Reports to: Head of Communications and Membership

Responsibilities:

  • Draft compelling content for various audiences, including website, newsletters, and materials.
  • Develop strategic messaging to effectively reach core audiences.
  • Support design of outputs and materials.
  • Enhance administrative efficiency through data research, entry, and system organization.
  • Conduct analytical research to improve digital communications.
  • Build and maintain relationships with members, partners, and donors, sharing stories and ensuring active engagement.

Desired Assets:

  • Proven record of creating compelling digital communications (website, newsletter, social media).
  • Experience in membership organisations or similar global non-profits.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to coordinate across remote, international teams and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent visual and branding skills, with experience in design materials.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
  • Desirable: Campaign and/or event management experience.
