Purpose of the Job:
Your mission is to implement, monitor, and review commissioning strategies for the Start for Life and Family Hub programme in Barking and Dagenham. By collaborating with the Start for Life and Family Hub Development Manager, the Public Health Consultant for Babies, Children and Young People, and other key partners, you will ensure the services commissioned align with the needs of the borough. Lead the charge in establishing universal early intervention groups, maximize service impact without duplication, and engage more fathers through specialized groups. Your innovative strategies will ensure every child gets the best start in life.

Requirements:
We are looking for a seasoned professional with a degree-level qualification or equivalent professional accreditation, possessing significant experience in early intervention and prevention projects. A deep understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage principles and cultural competency in family engagement is essential. You will collaborate effectively with stakeholders to ensure the project meets the children’s needs.
