Job summary

SSQ is seeking an Interim Commercial Lawyer for a fast-paced consumer-facing digital business based in London. The role starts ASAP for an initial 3–4 month period, with potential extension, and is structured as a hybrid working arrangement.

You will draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including terms, SaaS, data provisions, and consumer documentation, working closely with Marketing and Technology teams to balance risk and commercial goals.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with strong commercial contracts experience.
• Experience in consumer/e-commerce/retail/tech/digital sectors.
• Able to communicate with non-legal stakeholders and balance risk with commercial objectives.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements.
• Lead customer-facing terms and consumer documentation.
• Advise on consumer law matters and data/privacy considerations.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Technology, Procurement and other teams.
