Job summary

Chase & Holland are partnering with a large, established manufacturing organisation to recruit an experienced Interim Commercial Finance Manager for an ongoing assignment. The role sits in a busy finance function in Sheffield with hybrid working and broad responsibilities across commercial finance, management accounting and financial controls.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with experience in commercial finance and business partnering.
• Strong knowledge of financial controls, compliance and IFRS.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a finance team.

Responsibilities

• Act as financial lead across management and financial accounting.
• Business partner with key commercial stakeholders, providing insight.
• Provide commercial decision support to aid business decisions.
• Manage and develop a team of four direct reports.
• Own key balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.
• Consolidate forecasts and analyze variances.
• Improve financial systems, controls and processes.
• Support Head of Commercial Finance and deputise when required.
• Contribute to business change and finance improvements.
• Challenge processes to improve efficiency.
