A global content production business in London is seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to oversee billing operations, revenue recognition, and client profitability. The successful candidate will require extensive experience in commercial finance and will work in a hybrid model, with part of the week from the office and part from home. This role is pivotal in ensuring financial efficiency and supporting strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Leading month-end revenue recognition and client reporting.

Your new role
As a Commercial Finance Manager, you will play a key role in the finance team, overseeing billing operations, revenue recognition, and client profitability. This freelance position offers a hybrid working model, with three days split between internal and client offices and two days working from home. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading month-end revenue recognition and client reporting
  • Developing pricing models and commercial terms for new business
  • Improving billing efficiency and managing work-in-progress (WIP)
  • Ensuring compliance with financial controls and reporting deadlines
  • Maintaining client data across finance and CRM systems
  • Supporting commercial pitches and pricing strategies
  • Providing profitability reports and KPI insights to senior stakeholders



What you'll need to succeed
