Job summary

Motorpoint Arena Nottingham & National Ice Centre is seeking an Interim Chief Executive Officer to steady the organisation through a defined transition period and appoint a permanent successor.

The appointee will set priorities for the Senior Leadership Team, strengthen financial controls, enhance board reporting, and maintain external stakeholder relationships while ensuring safe, effective and commercially sound operations.

Qualifications

• Experience as CEO/MD or senior executive.
• Strong governance, risk management and board reporting.
• Ability to move quickly in a complex organisation.

Responsibilities

• Set clear priorities for the Senior Leadership Team and establish pace and accountability.
• Strengthen financial controls, forecasting, and board reporting to improve clarity and decision-making.
• Turn governance review findings into a practical action plan with ownership and timescales.
• Maintain external stakeholder relationships and ensure confidence during the transition.
• Oversee health and safety, licensing compliance and day-to-day operations.
