I've got an incredibly exciting opportunity working with a Local Authority. Currently, my client is in the market for an experienced Capital/Major Works Project Manager to help deliver numerous improvement projects within the Affordable Housing stock.

Role Responsibilities:
  1. Delivering a housing-led regeneration of up to 2,000 units
  2. Lead on consultation with and coordination of consultants regarding scheme redesigns, ideas books, and early projects including demonstration flats
  3. Lead and coordinate the procurement process, including preparation of key documents, risk assessment, and bid evaluation
  4. Ensure effective collaborative working and stakeholder consultations, including with Councillors
  5. Manage budgets across multiple projects
Essential Experience:
  • Good knowledge of Local Authority procedures, policies, and standards relevant to the role
  • Strong financial management skills within Capital Works projects
  • Experience working on similar Capital Works projects within housing
  • Good understanding of current building regulations
  • Proven track record of delivering Capital Works projects on time and within budget
