Are you an experienced fire risk professional looking for an exciting contract opportunity?

Principal People are partnering with a leading social housing organisation to find an Interim Building Safety Manager who will be responsible for managing building safety cases across their portfolio.

This role is for 6–8 months, primarily home-based with a requirement to be in the office in Central London for 1 day per week.

This position offers a fixed-term salary of GBP70–75k pro-rata or a competitive day rate contract (inside IR35).

The successful candidate will serve as the technical expert in building safety requirements, creating building safety cases as needed across the portfolio, among other duties and responsibilities.

About You
  • An associated qualification is desirable.
  • Proven experience in building safety and related responsibilities.
  • Experience in producing building safety cases.
  • Experience within the social housing sector.
  • Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • A confident communicator, able to work effectively with diverse teams.
