Qualifications

• Inspecteur de contrôle de bâtiments avec compétences de classe 2 et 3.

• Niveau 3 – Spécialiste selon le Cadre de Compétences de l'Inspecteur de Bâtiment considéré.

Responsibilities

• Visites de sites pour évaluer la conformité et la sécurité des projets.
• Coordination avec l'équipe pour améliorer les standards de construction.
• Surveillance des performances financières et opérationnelles de l'équipe.

Your new company

Working in Manchester, you will be in the heart of the Northern Powerhouse, based in the Town Centre, close to public transport links. You will be part of the building control team, working on high-profile projects that impact the community, including town centre regenerations, Etihad, Salford FC, student accommodation, high-rise residential, and commercial offices at Terminal 2 of MAG.

You will support the technical manager in overseeing the financial and operational performance of the team, aiming to improve standards related to buildings, building work, and public safety, while developing partnerships to maintain high service standards.

Your daily tasks will include site visits, liaising with your team, and ensuring project safety and compliance.

What you'll need to succeed

If you are a building control inspector or surveyor with Class 2 and Class 3 competencies, and have knowledge of current building regulations, chartered status with MCIOB/MCABE, you are encouraged to apply. Consideration may be given to those at Level 3 – Specialist level according to the Building Inspector Competence Framework.
