Job summary

Trial Balance Consulting are exclusively re-engaged to support a Plymouth-based client with an Interim Assistant Finance Analyst on a 2-4 month contract. The role supports the Senior Finance Business Partner with financial analysis, project analysis, budgeting and reporting during a busy period.

The successful candidate will gain experience in project finance, variance analysis, and business partnering, working closely with both finance and operational teams.

Qualifications

• AAT qualification or part-qualified CIMA/ACCA finance professional with strong financial analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Senior Finance Business Partner with financial analysis and reporting.
• Reviewing project performance and undertaking detailed project analysis.
• Monitoring budgets and variance analysis.
• Analyzing resource utilisation and project profitability.
• Managing prepayments, accruals, invoicing and income monitoring.
• Resolving project-related finance queries and completing reconciliations.
