Job description

My client is looking for a hands-on Accounts Assistant to support the day-to-day financial operations of our business. You'll report directly to our Finance Manager and play a key role in keeping our accounts running smoothly.


What you'll be doing:

  1. Processing accounts payable invoices
  2. Raising purchase orders (POs)
  3. Reconciling sales orders with our payment portal and accounting systems
  4. Chasing outstanding payments and managing debtor communications
  5. Responding to finance-related email requests
  6. Reviewing staff expenses
  7. General admin, data entry, and accuracy checks

What we're looking for:

  1. Previous experience in a similar finance or accounts role
  2. Good working knowledge of Xero is a big plus
  3. Understanding of VAT is desirable
  4. Solid attention to detail and the ability to stay organised
  5. Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines

You'll be part of a supportive team and get exposure to a broad range of finance tasks as they continue to streamline and automate our processes.
