My client is looking for a hands-on Accounts Assistant to support the day-to-day financial operations of our business. You'll report directly to our Finance Manager and play a key role in keeping our accounts running smoothly.
What you'll be doing:
Processing accounts payable invoices
Raising purchase orders (POs)
Reconciling sales orders with our payment portal and accounting systems
Chasing outstanding payments and managing debtor communications
Responding to finance-related email requests
Reviewing staff expenses
General admin, data entry, and accuracy checks
What we're looking for:
Previous experience in a similar finance or accounts role
Good working knowledge of Xero is a big plus
Understanding of VAT is desirable
Solid attention to detail and the ability to stay organised
Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
You'll be part of a supportive team and get exposure to a broad range of finance tasks as they continue to streamline and automate our processes.
