International Flavors & Fragrances, Inc. is seeking an Interim Accountant in Leeds for a 3-month contract, hybrid with three days in the office and two at home. The role focuses on financial reporting, month-end, and supporting management accounts and ad hoc reporting.

The ideal candidate is part-qualified or finalist (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with hands-on month-end experience and strong Excel (VLookup, Sumifs). You will join a finance team undergoing change and help ensure accurate month-end closes.

Qualifications

• Part Qualified/Newly Qualified or finalist-level (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent), with hands-on month-end experience
• Strong, confident Excel experience (VLookups/Sumifs)
• A medium or larger business background, ideally one that has been through change
• Proactive and curious: you stop and ask 'does this look right?' rather than trusting the process

Responsibilities

• Financial reporting and month-end: schedules, prepayments, accruals, journals and balance sheet reconciliations
• Management accounts and commercial finance: data prep and analysis, cost centre reporting, weekly and monthly reporting, budget support
• Regular and ad hoc reporting, plus audit schedules and year-end support as the business moves to a December year-end
