Job Opportunity: Interim Accountant

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established client in the construction industry who requires interim support during a busy period. Based in Ossett, this role offers an experienced accountant the chance to make an immediate impact in a hands-on position.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Preparation of monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis.
2. Oversight of the credit control function, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments.
3. Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure accurate reporting.
4. Assisting with cash flow forecasting and financial planning.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in preparing full management accounts.
• Background in credit control or strong debtor management skills.
• Experience using Sage 50 accounting software.

Salary: £40,000 - £46,000
