Job description

Our client is currently going through a period of positive realignment and they are in need of some extra support in their small finance team.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this role will suit a post-qualified accountant who is well-versed in producing month-end accounts and has a technical accounting bias. Responsibilities will include:

• Production of monthly management accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Production of statutory accounts
• Maintenance of fixed asset register
• Collaborating with Finance Business Partners in relation to budgeting and forecasting
• Delivery of monthly P&L
• Working closely with external auditors and providing advice where necessary
• Ad hoc duties

This role will suit an all-round, post-qualified accountant who has a keen eye for detail and understands the technical side of accounting.

This is a fast-paced, dynamic environment; as such, the ability to work to challenging deadlines is essential. Advanced experience of Excel is a must-have, and exposure to ERP systems would also be a distinct advantage.

Working out of modern offices, this role will commence in April with a minimum 6 months duration, but there is potential for a permanent role for the right candidate.
