An established and reputable PR and Public Affairs Agency with an impressive track record in Corporate Communications, Stakeholder Engagement and Political Communications for the real estate industry is looking to recruit an Account Director to join their organisation in for a 12 month maternity cover. The role is paying up to £45K pro rata and they may consider a day rate equivalent.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing and directing a portfolio of clients
  • Team and budget management- being an integral member of the SMT
  • Overseeing conception and implementation of Corporate Communications programmes
  • Providing strategic counsel and guidance to senior business executives within key clients
  • Reviewing and assessing development of Communications programmes for clients, to provide value/scope exceeding original client PR plans
  • Advising clients on the full mix of communications, corporate comms, PR & Media relations
  • Building on and leveraging established media contacts to create high quality coverage and thought leadership campaigns for clients

The successful candidate must have:

  • A minimum of 6-8 years in PR, be it within an agency or in-house at a commercial organisation
  • Excellent knowledge and a proven track record within property or investment
  • An excellent network of relevant media contacts
  • A natural personable, consultative approach to their work in order to build relationships with and advise senior stakeholders
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications with a natural analytical mind
