Qualifications

Job description

A bit about the IT Team: In addition to Information Security the IT Team in KINTO UK fulfil numerous responsibilities including provisioning a Service Desk, Infrastructure and Applications Support, a complex Data Warehouse, Software Development, Project Management, Change Management and Testing/QA. We work in close partnership with colleagues across the KINTO Business functions, other Teams within the broader Toyota family and a range of Third-Party Service providers.

This role will be working for KINTO-UK Ltd which is a Mobility Brand owned by the Toyota Group, offices located in Portsmouth. KINTO-UK share their HR function with Toyota Financial Services (TFS) in the UK, however the job being advertised will not be working directly for Toyota Financial Services.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support existing Miles interface/connector inventory (for example: CCS Interface, Mileage uploads, Mazda Contract Loader)
  • Monitor interface/connector performance and batch runs
  • Perform technical analysis to problem solve issues with interfaces
  • Communicate with 3rd party vendors for other systems connecting to the application
  • Define the solution design for new data interfaces
  • Lead the implementation of new data interfaces through oversight or development as needed
  • Ensure unit testing and system integration testing is completed
  • Ensure IT security and compliance standards are met
  • Assist the Development DBA to maintain and stabilise existing database requirements
  • Monitor daily data loads, troubleshoot issues and restart any failed loads

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Proven ability to develop and implement technical solutions that meet stakeholder's needs
  • Strong technical skills with an ability to perform technical tasks whilst being able to relate these to business requirements
  • Experience managing work with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrable knowledge of SQL Server relational databases and SSIS packages
  • Knowledge of CSV, XML, JSON, Web Services, Rest APIs, SFTP and general encryption techniques and technologies
  • Strong analytical & conceptual thinking abilities
  • Excellent IT skills and ability to assess documents and systems for conformity to internal and external standards. Familiarity with principles of good data governance, cyber security and data protection
  • Excellent problem solving and root cause analysis skills
  • Proven ability to work with minimal supervision
