Job Description

We're hiring an Interest and Claims Specialist at L&G Asset Management.

This role involves completing all Interest Claim and Overdraft duties, including CSDR penalty fees, with high quality and accuracy daily. Support the wider team by ensuring queries are handled promptly.

What you'll be doing:

• Completing Overdraft and Interest Claim tasks daily; monitoring overdrafts, charges, and interest claims; investigating root causes; managing resolutions proactively.
• Monitoring CSDR Penalty Fees related to failed trades; establishing root causes and liability.
• Maintaining an interest claims database with accurate records and updated commentary.
• Ensuring compliance with guidelines and regulations such as ISITC, CSDR, CASS.
• Producing MI and relevant reports.
• Managing tasks end-to-end; investigating and resolving issues; reporting inconsistencies.
• Reviewing processes for improvements to ensure control and reduce errors.
• Understanding how team tasks relate to overall processes; applying standard procedures consistently.
• Collaborating within the team to meet daily goals, adhering to deadlines, and delivering high standards. Demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and excellent client service. Providing cover for reconciliation tasks as needed.
