Job summary

University of Leeds is seeking a part-time Tutor in Arts and Humanities to support interdisciplinary teaching for the Foundation Year. The role focuses on two modules: Image, Music and Text and Communications, with delivery across hybrid lecture‑seminars and workshops.

You will contribute to preparation, delivery, academic tutorials, student support and assessment, working with Module Leaders and a Programme Manager to ensure successful student progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in interdisciplinary teaching within Higher Education is desirable.
• Ability to support learners transitioning to HE and develop academic skills.
• Experience preparing, delivering and assessing module content.

Responsibilities

• Deliver approximately six weeks of module teaching for LLLC0121 Image, Music and Text, including preparation and student support.
• Deliver approximately four weeks of module teaching for LLLC0143 Communications, including hybrid lecture‑seminars and skills workshops.
• Provide academic tutorials / office hours and assist with summative assessment of creative assignments.
• Collaborate with Module Leaders and Programme Manager on preparation, delivery and assessment.
