A leading Defence and Aerospace company in Stevenage is seeking an experienced Interconnects Design Engineer for a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will generate electrical schematics and cable designs using Zuken E3, support users, and manage product data with Windchill. Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Interconnects Design Engineer to join a leading Defence and Aerospace company in Stevenage. The successful candidate will have expertise in Zuken E3 and Windchill or similar product data management tools.

Responsibilities include:

• Generating electrical schematics and cable design definitions using Zuken E3
• Providing support and guidance for E3 users
• Integrating Zuken E3 throughout the product development lifecycle
• Investigating cable-related issues
• Supporting manufacturing resolution processes
• Designing cable assemblies considering electrical and environmental constraints
• Developing and delivering technical training for E3 users
• Applying product data and change management within Windchill
• Experience with PTC CREO Cabling is advantageous
