Job summary

Expleo is seeking an experienced Interconnect and Cable Architect to work with a client in Belfast. In this role, you will mentor others and lead the design of interconnect and cabling solutions for high-performance defence products. You will conduct trade-studies, analyses, and simulations to optimize designs throughout the product lifecycle.

A degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering is required along with post-graduate experience. The environment fosters collaboration and empowers engineers to innovate, making this a great opportunity to shape effective solutions in a meaningful sector.

Qualifications

• Experience in design of cables considering electrical constraints.
• Post-graduate relevant work experience is mandatory.
• Experience mentoring and coaching others is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of interconnect and cabling architectures.
• Design cable assemblies based on electrical constraints.
• Lead connector selection and evaluation activities.
• Support integration and testing of cable assemblies.
• Ensure compliance to regulatory standards.
