What You'll Be Doing
As an Intercompany Accountant, you'll be responsible for the integrity and accuracy of intercompany transactions across a large group of international entities. This is a high-impact role where your work will directly support group-level reporting, compliance, and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end intercompany accounting across multiple global entities, ensuring timely processing, accurate reconciliations, and robust reporting.
Prepare consolidated and group-level financial reports, supporting both month-end and year-end close activities.
Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations, with a particular focus on intercompany balances, resolving any discrepancies promptly.
Review and post complex intercompany journal entries, recharges, and eliminations in line with group policies and transfer pricing rules.
Work closely with international finance teams to ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data across the group.
Prepare audit-ready schedules and respond to external auditor queries as part of the statutory audit process.
Support transfer pricing compliance and ensure intercompany agreements are properly reflected in the accounts.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and reporting accuracy, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards, internal controls, and group financial policies.
About You
You've worked in a large, complex organisation, ideally a multinational, where high-volume intercompany transactions and tight month-end deadlines are the norm.
Strong understanding of intercompany accounting principles and transfer pricing.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and strong Excel skills.
You're detail-oriented, analytical, and confident working across time zones and cultures.
