Team Leader – Brand-New Specialist Support Service

Location: Ellesmere PortSalary: £14.80 per hourContract: Full-Time | Days & Nights Available

Are you an experienced Support Worker ready to step into leadership? Or already a Team Leader looking for a fresh challenge?

Aspirations Care is launching a brand-new intensive support service in Ellesmere Port, and we’re looking for a confident, motivated, and compassionate Team Leader to help shape the future of the service and lead from the front.

As a Team Leader, you'll play a vital role in supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex behaviours, guiding your team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care in a safe, positive, and empowering environment.

About the Role:
  • Lead a team of Support Workers to deliver outstanding care and support.

  • Mentor and coach staff, ensuring professional development and effective team performance.

  • Take the lead on daily operations, ensuring compliance with CQC standards and safeguarding protocols.

  • Manage care plans, risk assessments, and medication administration accurately.

  • Promote independence and active community involvement for the people we support.

  • Handle day-to-day issues and escalate concerns appropriately.

  • Support with rota planning, shift leadership, and staff communication.

About You:
  • Previous experience in a senior support role or team leadership position.

  • Strong knowledge of supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health needs.

  • Confident in leading a team and working under pressure.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Commitment to upholding person-centred care and promoting dignity and respect.

  • A proactive, solution-focused attitude with great attention to detail.
