Job summary

Northumberland County Council is recruiting for an Intensive Social Work Mental Health Team role, delivering high-quality social work to adults with complex needs in partnership with AMHP and the SaAT. You’ll manage your own caseload with supervision, use the Care Act to promote independence, and work in a skilled multidisciplinary team with opportunities to progress toward AMHP training.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work and registered with Social Work England.
• Completed the UK Skills for Care ASYE programme.
• Valid UK driving licence and car for work purposes.
• Enthusiastic, motivated social workers in mental health practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload with regular supervision and development.
• Use the Care Act and statutory duties to deliver person-centred outcomes.
• Work in a multidisciplinary team and progress toward AMHP training.
• Deliver strengths-based interventions to support independence and recovery.
