A leading company in the mental health sector is seeking a crisis stabilization program leader to provide strategic direction and oversight. This role involves overseeing program development, training staff, and collaborating with community resources to deliver high-quality crisis interventions. Candidates should have a strong background in behavioral health, crisis intervention, and team management.
Job Description
Provide strategic direction and operational leadership to ensure the delivery of effective crisis stabilization services; oversee program development, implementation, and continuous improvement to align with best practices in crisis intervention; and develop and implement policies and procedures that support high-quality, person-centered crisis care.
Ensure individuals in crisis receive timely assessment, intervention, and stabilization services; promote evidence-based practices such as trauma-informed care, de-escalation techniques, and risk assessment protocols; collaborate with clinical teams to create individualized crisis stabilization plans that prioritize client safety and recovery; and monitor program effectiveness through outcome measures, data analysis, and service utilization reports.
Train and supervise a multidisciplinary team; provide ongoing coaching, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities; and foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that prioritizes staff well-being and effectiveness.
Build and maintain relationships with community mental health providers, law enforcement, emergency services, and local hospitals; represent the crisis stabilization program in community meetings, task forces, and advocacy initiatives; and develop referral pathways to ensure individuals receive appropriate follow-up care and long-term support.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all ethical and legal guidelines; participate in team meetings, training, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and effectiveness.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field, and 3 to 5 years of experience in behavioral health, crisis intervention, or emergency mental health services, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or lead role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
