The Role:

As an Intelligence Specialist, you will be responsible for extracting, analysing, and interpreting complex datasets to provide valuable insights that drive business decisions.

This role requires proficiency in data analysis tools and software, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to communicate findings in a clear and concise manner. You will collaborate with various teams to support initiatives and improve operational efficiency while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Trading Standards work on behalf of several government bodies to support the compliance and regulation of laws developed to keep people safe and businesses trading fairly. These laws cover a variety of areas, for example, Animal Health (e.g., disease management), Animal Feed (e.g., ensuring food remains safe from farm to fork), Product Safety (e.g., testing products for safe use), Fair Trading (e.g., investigating scams), and Food Safety (e.g., testing food samples). By analysing and interpreting data and supporting service development projects, you will help to shape how the service can best respond to these competing priority areas.

If you have a passion for data-driven decision making, problem solving, and improving processes through technology, then we would like to hear from you.
