Job Title: Intelligence, Response Operations Centre Analyst
Job Location: Sunbury-on-Thames (Hybrid)
Contract Length: 6 months initial contract with the view to go permanent (Temp-Perm)
Industry: Oil and Energy
Shift pattern: 4-day rotational shifts - First 3 days: 7am - 7pm on site (except weekends); 4th day: 7pm - 7am WFH
Role Overview:
Working as part of a high-performing intelligence and operational team for a global energy company, an IROC Analyst is required to monitor and report on global and local events and play a vital role in how the company responds to incidents.
You will need to look beyond major media networks to provide advance warning of threats and incidents. You will independently exploit social media and intelligence sources using available tools. An IROC analyst will assess events for potential impact on the company's people, assets, and reputation, escalating in accordance with established procedures. You will work closely with ISC global and regional teams to reduce risk, supporting intelligence-led security risk management and crisis response.
What you will do:
An IROC analyst will support the production of thematic open-source intelligence reports to monitor current trends and issues relevant to ISC and to support security policy and business objectives. IROC analysts are responsible for collecting, analyzing, and effectively communicating operational intelligence to support security risk management and crisis response. This information supports the decision-making process and incident response.
You will maintain active awareness of global events and a strong understanding of their potential impacts on the organization and the wider energy sector.
An IROC analyst will collect, build, interpret, and visualize multiple data sets, delivering analysis and commentary through reports. Your analysis will inform action and decision-making within the organization.
