Job summary

Essential Employment seeks an Intelligence & Analysis Manager for a temporary, full-time role in Stafford. You will lead BI development for Children’s Services, support Liquidlogic reporting implementation and deliver Power BI dashboards to meet operational and strategic needs.

You will collaborate with managers, teams and system suppliers, translate requirements into data solutions, and ensure data quality and governance across projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and enhancement of management information and BI across Children's Services.
• Support implementation of a Liquidlogic case management system with reporting design.
• Develop Power BI dashboards, reports and visualisations for operations and strategy.
• Collaborate with service managers, teams and suppliers to capture reporting needs.
• Produce data specifications and ensure outputs meet business and statutory requirements.
• Plan and coordinate testing activities including UAT for reports and dashboards.
• Analyse complex data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Support reporting developments under Families First reforms and service transformation.
• Ensure data quality, consistency and governance compliance.
• Manage multiple reporting projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and enhancement of management information, performance reporting, and business intelligence solutions across Children's Services.
• Support the implementation of a new Liquidlogic case management system, including reporting development and data specification design.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualisations to meet operational and strategic requirements.
• Work closely with service managers, operational teams, and system suppliers to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
• Produce detailed data specifications and ensure reporting outputs meet business needs and statutory reporting requirements.
• Plan and coordinate testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring system reports and dashboards perform as expected.
• Provide analysis and interpretation of complex data sets to identify trends, performance issues, risks, and opportunities.
• Support reporting developments required under the Families First reforms and other service transformation initiatives.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with relevant legislation and governance standards.
• Manage and prioritise multiple reporting projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
