Job description

Two posts.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as an Intelligence Analyst in Major Crime. In this role, you will be required to work within Major Incident Rooms to provide high-level analytical support to senior operational police officers.

The successful applicant will be able to use analytical techniques to create intelligence and evidential products to inform Major Investigations such as Homicides and Crimes in Action, whilst providing an efficient and effective service to support managerial, operational and investigative decision-making.

Please note this role is hybrid working with a split of 40% office 60% home working. Some travel to the Incident Rooms in Taplow, Aylesbury and Kidlington will be required, therefore the successful applicant must have capability to travel to different locations across the Force and undertake all assignments in a timely manner. Due to the requirement to work flexibly, unsocial hours and personal safety for lone working; public transport may not be available or suitable at these times. For this reason a full UK driving licence is considered essential.

One post will need to be at Aylesbury. The other post can be either Aylesbury, Taplow or Kidlington.

The successful candidate will receive a call out allowance of £36.00 per call out.
