Intellectual Property Lawyer | 2+ PQE | National Law Firm | Flexible Working

BCL Legal is delighted to be working with a prestigious national law firm in search of a talented Intellectual Property Lawyer with at least 2 years' PQE. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and driven lawyer to join a growing and dynamic Commercial IPCT team, gaining exposure to a wide variety of intellectual property, commercial, and IT matters, while benefiting from flexible working arrangements and excellent career development prospects.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including product supply and distribution, agency agreements, outsourcing, and managed service contracts.
• Advise on intellectual property (IP) matters, including licensing, IP portfolios (trademarks), and non-contentious IP issues.
• Provide guidance on data protection compliance, including UK GDPR and related privacy laws.
• Advise clients on bribery and modern slavery compliance.
• Manage IP disputes and collaborate with clients to ensure their commercial and IP needs are met.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
• Be a key part of a national team that is highly regarded for its client-focused solutions in the IP, IT, and commercial sectors.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' post-qualification experience as a solicitor, with exposure to commercial, IP, IT, procurement, and projects matters.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills, particularly in commercial contracts and IP matters.
• A solid understanding of data protection law and IP management.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive approach to business development, with a passion for client relationship management.
