The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and be a clear communicator, both verbally and in written English of a high standard. They should possess intermediate to expert IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Whilst not essential it is highly desirable that the ideal candidate has previous experience working in a secure environment, or experience working in a security intelligence or data analyst role.
Preferred experience includes operational experience in prisons, technical knowledge of relevant prison legislation, policies, standards, and an understanding of the wider criminal justice system. Familiarity with the Intelligence Management Service (IMS) or Mercury Intelligence System (MIS) would also be advantageous.
Preferred qualifications include those equivalent to Level 3 or above, such as A levels, Advanced Apprenticeships, AS Levels, International Baccalaureate diplomas, Level 3 Awards, Certificates and Diplomas, and Level 3 NVQ accreditations
