Job summary

A leading energy sector company is seeking an Integrity / Senior Integrity Engineer for a fixed-term role in Aberdeen. The position requires extensive experience within the North Sea Oil & Gas sector, knowledge of relevant regulations, and strong inspection skills. The successful candidate will engage in ensuring safety and compliance with plant integrity standards while leading inspection activities.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in the North Sea Oil and Gas sector.
  • Ability to attain UKAS RG2 Category 3.
  • Knowledge of offshore legislation and inspection codes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-service inspection of pressure systems, plant, and equipment.
  • Oversee integrity measures and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Utilize NDT techniques to assess plant integrity.

The CAN Group of companies are leading providers in Engineering, Integrity, Inspection and Maintenance solutions to the energy industry worldwide.

We are currently looking to recruit an Integrity / Senior Integrity Engineer for a Fixed Term, 6-month role based at one of our Clients Offices in Aberdeen. This role is a full-time hours, office-based position working Monday to Friday.

Candidates should possess the following skills:

Essential

  • Degree qualified in an engineering related discipline or HNC / HND qualified with formal plant inspection training / qualification
  • Extensive experience within the North Sea Oil and Gas sector in a relevant role
  • Ability to attain UKAS RG2 Category 3
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of relevant offshore legislation, codes and standards associated with the in-service inspection of pressure systems, plant and equipment.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of NDT and Specialist Inspection techniques
  • Demonstrable knowledge in corrosion / degradation mechanisms
  • Ability to use and experience of bespoke databases
  • Possesses strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Desirable

  • Offshore experience
  • Leadership and Communication skills
  • API 510 / 570 / ASME Level 2

Candidates should live within commuting distance of CAN’s Aberdeen Office and hold a full UK Driving Licence.
