Job summary

Meta Careers seeks Integrity Scientists to investigate and analyze online abuse, and to develop countermeasures that scale detection and enforcement across Meta products. The role focuses on data analysis, machine learning, and collaboration with back-end engineers, data scientists and operations teams to enforce content quality at scale.

Successful candidates will demonstrate experience identifying patterns in large datasets, making rapid decisions, and iterating based on new data.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Math/Finance, Physics, Applied Economics, Statistics or other technical field.
• Experience investigating and acting on high-impact threats and online threat actors.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience coding in PHP, Python, or Java.
• Experience adhering to responsible AI practices (risk assessment, bias mitigation).

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze patterns in large, unstructured datasets to detect online abuse.
• Develop and implement countermeasures to scale abuse detection and prevention.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science and Trust & Safety teams to build robust tools and workflows.
• Iterate on AI-driven solutions, testing hypotheses and adjusting approaches as needed.
