A leading technology company in London is seeking an Agentic Integration Specialist to design, build, and manage integrations that connect advanced AI agents with enterprise applications. Ideal candidates will have extensive API development experience and a strong technical background in programming and integration platforms. This role requires a proactive approach to building collaborative systems in a fast-paced environment.
About Salesforce:
We’re Salesforce, the Customer Company, inspiring the future of business with AI + Data + CRM. Leading with our core values, we help companies across every industry blaze new trails and connect with customers in a whole new way. And, we empower you to be a Trailblazer, too — driving your performance and career growth, charting new paths, and improving the state of the world. If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good – you’ve come to the right place.
About the Role:
We are seeking a technically adept and innovative Agentic Integration Specialist to join our Forward Deployed Engineering Team. You will serve as the crucial link between our advanced AI agents and the wider enterprise technology landscape. Your primary responsibility will be to design, build, and manage the integrations that enable our Agentforce agents to take meaningful, autonomous actions across various business systems.
You will not only connect agents to systems but also orchestrate a collaborative network of specialized AI agents, ensuring they work together seamlessly to solve complex business problems. If you are an expert in connecting disparate systems and are excited by the challenge of enabling AI to act upon its insights, this role is for you.
Your Impact:
System & Agent Integration Architecture: Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure integration patterns that connect Agentforce to a wide range of enterprise applications and enable communication between different AI agents.
Multi-Agent Orchestration: Design and manage a Model Context Protocol (MCP) to orchestrate, monitor, and govern a fleet of specialized AI agents. Ensure efficient task allocation and collaboration between agents.
Agent-to-Agent Communication (A2A): Develop and implement protocols and standards for inter-agent communication, enabling different AI agents to collaborate, share information, and hand off tasks effectively.
API Development and Management: Develop, deploy, and maintain custom APIs (REST, SOAP) to facilitate seamless data exchange and action execution between Agentforce and other systems.
Workflow Automation: Collaborate with business analysts and AI specialists to translate complex business processes into automated, agent-driven workflows. Implement the technical logic that enables agents to perform tasks like creating records, triggering notifications, and updating systems.
Authentication and Security: Implement and manage secure authentication and authorization protocols (e.g., OAuth, SAML) to ensure that all agent actions are secure and comply with enterprise security policies.
Data Flow and Transformation: Manage the real-time flow of data to and from the AI agent. Implement necessary data transformations to ensure compatibility between different system formats and schemas.
Troubleshooting and Optimization: Monitor the health and performance of integrations, proactively identifying and resolving issues. Continuously optimize integration workflows for speed, reliability, and efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of hands-on experience in a technical integration role, such as an Integration Developer or API Specialist.
Expertise in API design and development (REST, SOAP, webhooks).
Proficiency with one or more programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
Hands-on experience with an enterprise integration platform (iPaaS) such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or a similar technology.
Strong understanding of authentication/authorization standards like OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
Experience with data formats like JSON and XML and data transformation techniques.
Familiarity with message queues, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems concepts.
A solid understanding of how AI agents operate, with a conceptual grasp of multi-agent systems and how they use data to trigger actions. Direct experience working on AI or automation projects is a significant plus.
Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues that span multiple systems.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
A proactive and detail-oriented approach to building and maintaining systems.
Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience integrating with the Salesforce platform, particularly using Salesforce APIs and Apex.
Any MuleSoft Developer or Architect certification is highly desirable.
Familiarity with the integration services offered by major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Experience in an Agile development environment.
