We offer you a world of possibilities

Join Computershare, a global leader in financial administration, where over 12,000 employees across 20+ countries serve more than 16,000 clients and 75 million customers. Built on our foundational share registry business, we've expanded into diverse areas including employee equity plans, corporate governance, fund services, and mortgage servicing. We're currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our newly formed Investor Engagement division. This pivotal role will be crucial in integrating our recent acquisitions, ingage IR (IR CRM software) and CMi2i (Investor Intelligence), with our established Georgeson advisory business, ensuring a seamless and successful unification of these three key players in the Investor Relations space.

A role you will love

As the Integration Senior Programme Manager, you'll be instrumental in weaving together our new Investor Engagement business. You'll set the project standards, coordinate all activities, and make sure everything aligns with our company goals. This means working closely with diverse, specialized teams across the wider Computershare group, as well as key business stakeholders. You'll be the go-to person for reporting on progress, challenges, and dependencies.

To thrive in this role, you'll need exceptional project management and people skills, sharp commercial acumen, and the ability to effectively understand and manage cross-functional teams to deliver results on time.

  • Drive project timelines: You'll oversee and monitor project schedules, set and track deadlines, and ensure workstream leads are held accountable for their deliverables.
  • Resolve issues effectively: You'll manage issue escalations and resolutions with sensitivity, ensuring all reporting is complete and accurate, and agreed-upon actions are implemented.
  • Proactively manage risks: You'll closely monitor emerging risks, ensuring clear ownership and accountability for their remediation.
  • Lead project meetings: You'll chair checkpoint meetings and provide comprehensive, regular reports on project status.
  • Support executive reporting: You'll contribute to executive management reporting and SteerCo meetings by providing meaningful data and decision papers.
  • Optimise processes: You'll define, measure, manage, and improve processes to achieve operational excellence and quality within the project.
  • Foster a culture of improvement: You'll encourage and promote a continuous improvement and quality culture across all workstreams, ensuring compliance with all Computershare policies, requirements, and values.

What Will You Bring to the Role?

You'll be a seasoned Integration Programme Manager with a profound grasp of project and change management. You're adept at setting clear objectives, consistently meeting deadlines, and resolving misunderstandings with data-driven insights. While you won't have direct reports, your strong leadership skills will shine as you guide integration workstreams and stakeholders across various service lines and shared service functions. You're someone who thrives in uncertainty, able to connect the dots and facilitate crucial conversations to find effective solutions. Your keen eye for detail and evaluative judgment, honed by best practices and extensive experience, will be vital to the overall success of the Investor Engagement integration project.

Here are the key qualities we're looking for:
  • Proven PMO Expertise: Significant experience within PMO organisations, managing complex change and integration teams, and adept at setting, adjusting, and prioritising processes.
  • Risk Management Acumen: Demonstrated risk awareness, ensuring compliance with procedures and internal requirements, and a track record of developing processes to minimise risk.
  • Exceptional Analytical Skills: Highly developed analytical, organisational, and planning capabilities, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and forge clear paths forward.
  • Stakeholder Engagement Pro: A proven ability to engage and build rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders, including C-suite executives, coupled with strong communication and consulting skills.
  • Adaptability & Resilience: Comfortable adapting to a changing environment, demonstrating flexibility, and effectively managing difficult or sensitive client situations.
  • Collaborative Partnership Builder: An innate ability to build strong partnerships and work collaboratively towards shared objectives, driving timely and informed decision-making.
