Integration Developer Role

The Integration Developer works within the Biffa Software Development team and is an expert in utilizing Azure integrations to transfer data between legacy systems and new applications. This role involves working on major transformation projects, liaising with vendors to integrate their applications into our system landscape, and supporting internal development projects to enhance existing integrations.

Core Responsibilities

1. Design, build, and support reusable integration interfaces.
2. Select appropriate technology solutions for new integrations, providing pros and cons for each option.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, data migration teams, and developers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
4. Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.
5. Ensure integrations are scalable, reliable, secure, and performant, following best practices and industry standards.
6. Create and maintain technical documentation for integrations.
7. Develop or enhance internal .NET applications.
8. Participate in code reviews, discussions, and knowledge-sharing activities, communicating progress, challenges, and solutions to the team and stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of experience developing and managing Azure-based integrations.
3. Strong experience with developing integrations using .NET Framework, ASP.NET, LogicApps, and Web APIs.
4. Knowledge of RESTful API design, API security, and versioning, with the ability to implement and maintain secure and scalable APIs.
5. Knowledge of D365 or other CRM/ERP systems is desirable.
