Warrington Borough Council is recruiting three Integration and Resettlement Officer positions on a fixed-term basis for two years. Roles include supporting asylum seekers, refugees, and the Homes for Ukraine scheme, and a post dedicated to vulnerable persons including military veterans.

The Integration and Resettlement Team is based at Whitecross Centre (WA5 1PT) and provides support to all WBC managed resettlement schemes, including support to asylum seekers and refugees and vulnerable persons, including military veterans.
We work closely with other WBC Teams (Contact Warrington, Housing Needs, Benefits and Exchequer Services) and with many partner agencies, including the Home Office and Serco, a wide range of VCSE and CIC partnerships and grass roots groups or independent volunteer groups who we commission and support to provide a range of diversionary activities. All activities are funded via external resettlement grants.
For Military Veterans, we work in partnership with our Veterans Community Support Centre (Based in Orford Park) and with the Armed Forces Strategic Network to provide intensive, wrap around support to ex armed forces personnel and military families who are resident or returning to Warrington who require advice, information and support as well as case management to address any barriers they face.
