Job summary

Henderson Scott is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to lead technical discovery and integration analysis on a 6-month contract in Telford, hybrid (2 days onsite) with SC clearance. The role focuses on turning unclear integration estates into clear migration and decommissioning plans, operating in the technical space rather than a traditional BA.

Qualifications

• Experience as Technical Analyst, Integration Analyst, Systems Analyst or closely related role, ideally in government/public sector.
• Strong understanding of integrations, APIs, and enterprise application landscapes.
• Hands-on experience of technical discovery and facilitating workshops with mixed technical and business audiences.
• Ability to analyse architectures, interfaces, and dependencies and communicate findings clearly.
• Proven track record producing structured technical documentation and artefacts.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and backlog management practices.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication across business and technical communities.
• Structured, detail-focused analytical approach with an evidence-led mindset.

I am looking for an experienced Systems Analyst to lead technical discovery and integration analysis across complex programmes, turning unclear integration estates into clear migration and decommissioning plans. You'll sit firmly in the technical space, not as a traditional BA, helping teams understand APIs, data flows, and dependencies so they can plan and deliver change with confidence.

Due to the nature of the client and urgency of the role candidates will ideally hold active SC clearance.

• Experience working as a Technical Analyst, Integration Analyst, Systems Analyst, or in a closely related role, ideally within a government / public sector environment.
• Strong understanding of system integrations, APIs, and enterprise application landscapes.
• Hands?on experience of technical discovery and facilitating workshops with mixed technical and business audiences.
